How to delete facebook shared photo

you know that facebook messenger has a option called delete or remove photo but this option actually never even remove this photo from the source , but why we cannot see the photo , well, we callot see the photo because this photo src is completely removed from facebook option. but the photo is still stay on soource even forever...
